A path is usually more than just a file name, it has information about disk drive and directories.

see the docu https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/8d/3e4ec2462a11d189000000e8323d3a/frameset.htm

Thank you Juergen. But as soon as I update the path. I am getting a new error.

I have updated following

  • From <FILENAME> to <P=DIR_TEMP>/<FILENAME>

I am getting this error when updating the LSMW "Specify Files" step

I am quite lost with this configuration. I would really appreciate any help for this.

Thank you in advance.

I do not know what value is in your variable <P=DIR_TEMP> and if this directory exists in your system (obviously not).

It often depends on your database and how the string is written, some need a slash while others need a backslash.

Hello Jurgen,

I am also facing almost similar issue. The below screenshots describe the settings -

FILE PATH

FILE NAME

When I run the direct input program, I get the below error -

/usr/sap/DEM/SYS/global is the DIR_GLOBAL directory.

I don't know why the LSMW is concatenating the DIR_GLOBAL directory?

Can you help me resolve this issue?
