u mean to say that already a vendor exists and ur trying to duplicate the same vendor...This is not allowed by SAP itself. But u can use the same vendor and extend it to another sales organization.

    Hi

I don't know what duplicate vendor means for you?

If it's the vendors with the same VAT code, it should be standard controls in customizing else you have to use the exit EXIT_SAPMF02D_001 or BTE 1340 or BTE 1360.

So u can use the exit EXIT_SAPMF02D_001, here insert the code you need to check the duplicate vendor.

Perhaps the problem you can have is this exit is triggered at the end only.

U can try to use the BTE 1360 (it's to check the account group), but I believe here those fields are not filled yet.
