FiletoJDBC: Error initializing channel: java.lang.NullPointerException

Hi,

I am doing a simple file to jdbc scenario, where im inserting a row in a oracle database table.

The following are my configuration settings:

oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

jdbc:odbc:thin:@(IP_Address):1521:MCD

I am getting the following error message in Adapter Monitoring:

Receiver Adapter v2604 for Party '', Service 'BS_MCD':

Configured at 2007-01-12 11:13:53 UTC

History:

- 2007-01-12 11:13:53 UTC: Error: Error initializing channel: java.lang.NullPointerException

Please let me know if my confirguration settings are wrong.

    Hi yogendranath,

    To solve this problem, you have to load the <b>JDBC drivers</b> for the ORACLE, you have to deploy in to SDM.. then only your scenario will work..

    Try jdbc:<b>oracle</b>:thin:@(IP_Address):1521:MCD
