i went through SAP note# and get same solution which one is given by you, what i am thinking instead of removing some lines from arch<SID>.log if i rename this file then will it work, means SAP/Oracle will create this file itself.

Thanks and Regards

Hi,

Whether CDVarch1_64_611979793.dbf is physically available on the system?

You can try that, but i doubt.Make sure to backup the respective log files before doing any changes so that you revert back all the changes.

Please update me once you do that.

Can you UNCAR(unzip) CDVarch1_64_611979793.dbf.Z file and try.

Here the error is

BR0017E Offline redo log file '/oracle/CDV/102_64/dbs/arch1_64_611979793.dbf' not found , all the rest are Warnings & Info.

can you please check the logs in /oracle/<SID>/sapbackup?

I think if you edit the last entries in arch<SID>.log in /oracle/<SID>/saparch you can get rid of the error.

send me the last entries of arch<SID>.log in /oracle/<SID>/saparch

Regards,

Cherry
