SAP Extractor

Hi,

we are using a third party Business Warehouse for which we need to write custom extractors for .

I was wondering, though, if the standard extractors used by SAP's BW could be used for that purpose. Can the extractors be configured to write data to a file? We're on ECC 5.0 .

Hi,

Standard extractors can only be used in SAP environment i.e. for SAP R/3, PI and BW environment.

Third part datawarehouse products will definitely carry SAP adapters / Listeners - you can write extraction programs / RFC enabled function modules in the source system - and invoke these remotely in your third party product.
