No iView Templates Found in EP7 PCD

hi

when i go to portal content > right-click > new iView

I select the first option:

iView Template - create an iView from an existing iView template.

it says:

<b>No templates to display. You are not assigned to any existing templates.</b>

huh? i have all owner permissions on all pcd objects, and all templates are set to "object is a template".

    Hi Kelly,

    We encountered this problem recently, and we found out that this issue was triggered by another issue occurring in the Portal PCD after an upgrade to a higher SPS level.

    During the patching process, some of the PCD information is not persisted correctly in the Oracle database. SAP is indicating that the root cause is due to the JDBC driver release: "Certain Oracle JDBC driver can cause data inconsistence. Check note #1003198 in order to check if this is the problem here".

    After reviewing and applying the recommended fixes from note #886596, both issues are now resolved. So if you are using Oracle DB as your portal persistence, you might want to look into this.
