Contact Person Data

Former Member

In CRM, on a business partner I've added a "has contact person" relationship to another business partner (person). In the details of this relationship there's a section called Contact Person Data. It contains fields for VIP, Department, Function, Authority, and Note.

I would like to add some additional values to the Department and Function dropdowns. How do I do this in CRM? In ERP?

Thanks very much for your help.

Hi Keith,

The best way is to add the values is in ERP and these values will get replicated into CRM via customizing object download.

1. To add additional values for the paramer 'Function' use the img activity - IMG > Sales & Distribution - Master Data > Business Partners > Contact Person > Define Contact Person Functions' (Use download object DNL_CUST_TPFK via transaction R3AS to synchronize these values between ERP and CRM)

2. To add additional values for the paramer 'Department' use the img activity - IMG > Sales & Distribution - Master Data > Business Partners > Contact Person > Define Standard Departments' (Use download object DNL_CUST_TSAB)

3. To add additional values for the paramer 'VIP' use the img activity - IMG > Sales & Distribution - Master Data > Business Partners > Contact Person > Define VIP indicators' (Use download object DNL_CUST_TVIP)

4. To add additional values for the paramer 'Decisive Authorities' use the img activity - IMG > Sales & Distribution - Master Data > Business Partners > Contact Person > Define Decision Authorities' (Use download object DNL_CUST_TVPV)

You need to make a note that, each time any of these values changes the corresponding appropriate customizing object need to executed in R3AS.

Hi

Did u try the EEWB or the visual screen composer (via SPRO) for CRM....for ERP you have to enhance the master data screens.....

Does this mean that there is not a way to add extra values? Isn't there some table that these dropdowns are reading their values from?
