Data Export through PU12 without use of Payroll area

Hi ,

I want to design an interface where I can extract PA records of employees active on particular date irrespective of payroll area, a kind of Initial Load .

When I am trying to attach my own report category to the Export Interface which does not have any selection parameter for Payroll Area , then Interface does not select any record for export , whereas if I use Payroll area on selection screen it extracts records.

Has anyone worked on such scenario where Payroll area should not be in picture while extracting records?

What is ur export interface name? Use default report category for Master data & check the same.

Hi Sarika,

With the default report category it works because Payroll area is mandatory field there.

But I don't want to use payroll area on selection screen.

And the Interface I am using is custom one. Which I have created with two PA infotypes.
