Hello,
I am troubleshooting a BOBJ 4.1 SP7 install that was upgraded from 4.1 SP5. There are a couple reports in WebI that throw an error and in SP7 we see:
A database error has occurred. For more information about this error, please refer to SAP Knowledge Base Article 2054721 on the SAP Support Portal. (IES 10901) (ERROR: INF).
It is not the error itself, it is the detail. Those same reports in SP5 threw this error instead:
A database Error has occurred. The database error text is: [NCR][ODBC Teradata][Teradata Database] No more spool space in .... . (WIS 10901).
So while we figured out what the error was while they were in SP5 and knew that going into SP7, it would have been really hard to identify it in SP7 directly. We have a couple other reports that randomly throw this as well that we did not catch the error in SP5 so it is a lot harder to troubleshoot.
Is there a setting somewhere that has changed and can be reverted back that will pass the error back up through to Web Intelligence so we get the same level of detail we used to get in SP5? Even if this means upgrading to SP8 or SP9.
Thanks,
Nathan
This is a bug that is present in SP06 and SP07. It's fixed in SP06 Patch 8, SP07 Patch 4, and SP08. See SAP Note 2230680.
