One of our customer is doing Oil business, they store the material in tanks (1 tank capacity is 30000 litre, they have 28 tanks). These tanks could be treated as storage tanks. And the production process is also done in the tanks with agitators where certain vitamins are added to produce the required vegetable oil. So before they load the oil to the production tanks they will do an MRP run, and the expectation is MRP run should tell them that which tank is empty or else a partial load can be taken.
So is it possible to fix a capacity for a logistics area (we are thinking to configure the tanks as Logistics area) and can the system tell us in which tank they can do production.
If there is NO direct method then do we have a work around.
