Flexible Planning in SOP it is my understanding that only one planner at a time can access the data, is this correct? If it is not correct how can multiple planners access the information at the same time, interactively. Or is this capability only possible within SCM via the creation of multiple versions?
Any assistance anybody can give would be greatly appreciated. We are doing MTS & MTO.
Hi Geoff,
I am not referring to APO.
In flexible planning, you can create multiple versions which called inactive versions. In this case, each planner can work on his/her task and at the end they need to copy their work to one active version which will be used for planning.

Hi Geoff,
Welcome to SDN.
Multi planner can read the data in the same time (read only) but only one planner can update the data in case they are accessing data at same level (key figures).
Also multi planners can work with different versions but at then end only one active version need to be used for example 000.
Hope this will help.
