calculated/restricted key figures not found in a joined data source

Former Member

Hello,

I work with SAP Business ByDesign, I want to join 2 data sources for a report. In one of them there are key figures essential for my report. These restricted and calculated key figures are present in my first data source but when I want to join it with another data source they disappear. How to find them ?

Thank you for your help !

Dear Mr. Justin,

Thank you for contacting us.

The Calculated and Restricted key figures present in the join members(i.e data sources used for creating join data source) which can be either standard or custom key figures will not be seen to include in the join data source. The Join Data Source created cannot be calculated correctly and the result consistency cannot be ensured if we enable these key figures. Hence, it is possible only to include only the direct key figures coming from the data source. Any such need can be met by creating the key figures on the new join data source created.
