B1DE ActiveX Item OnClick Event

Hi,

I've created a custom form that contains an ActiveX Item (ItemType = 102)

Will SAP raise and forward corresponding events to B1DE for the item ItemPressed and Item KeyPressed events?

<i>public class Grid__FooBar_PAYMENT : B1Item

{

public Grid__FooBar_PAYMENT()

{

FormType = "FooBar_PYMNT";

ItemUID = "Grid";

}

[B1Listener(BoEventTypes.et_ITEM_PRESSED, false)]

public virtual void OnAfterClick(ItemEvent pVal)

{

bool ActionSuccess = pVal.ActionSuccess;

Form form = B1Connections.theAppl.Forms.Item(pVal.FormUID);

Item item = form.Items.Item("Grid");

}

}</i>

The code above does not cause the B1DE event code to execute when I click anywhere on the associated activeX control.

.Ben

    As far as i know, B1 does not send click events generated on the activex control. They are usually 'caught' by the activex control itself.

      The easiest way to accomplish that goal is managing events in the ActiveX control itself, as Business One SDK relationships with ActiveX controls is not very well implemented. If you need any kind of communication between the ActiveX and your addon, and you haven't developed the ActiveX yourself (or you don't have the sources), there is no easy way to achieve the communication.

      Hope it helps;
