Portal SSO Authentication

Hello,

We have a requirement in our landscape to user SAML2 or any similar solution for the below requirement

1) Our Portal and ECC user ID naming convention are the same and a Ticket based SSO is configured between Portal and ECC and this works fine and no issues here

2) Now the need is configure SSO with Portal and Active directory so that when user login to desktop it does not ask for portal password, but the real issue for us is different from our Active directory user naming conversion is different from our portal naming convention

any help here is appreciated on how SSO can be achieved if your AD and Portal naming convention are differenent
