Current year Asset migration GO LIVE mid year

Hi All,

I need your input/suggestion for below point related to asset balance load

Scenario

Asset acquired in current year system GO LIVE MID year

For this scenario, we are following below T code approach

AS91-ABSO (Post only 1^st transaction in sequence) – ABLDT – ABSO (post rest transactions in sequence)

Question

In above case how we can load value in ABLDT alone as asset is already created in step 1. Our technical team checked and confirmed that “BAPI_FIXEDASSET_OVRTAKE_CREATE” will create an asset and then post ABLDT no option to post only ABLDT alone.

Anyone came across such scenario, please advice. How to handle mid-year go live with current year asset data load with transaction history.

Hi Pankaj,

We in SFIN system and as per my understanding we do not have option in AS91 anymore. In SFIN if you use AS91 it will take you to ABLDT instead.

I got asnswer in BAPI there is transaction table column you can use it.

Your perception is very much right in this scenario. BAPI_FIXEDASSET_OVRTAKE_CREATE” creates master data in one step and post transfer values .

Hi Vishal,

While creating asset in AS91 you have option for the transactions where you can add the current year transaction which are posted in asset.

Please check.
