Hello All,
I am trying to apply support package stack 10 on the NW04s portal. I downloaded SP10 and stored it in EPS/in box and then selected Support package stack radio button on the JSPM.
Later, it first updated the JSPM to 10.1 and asked me to restart the JSPM. I restarted the JSPM and then am trying to apply the SP10, I get the error message
"cannot stop J2EE instance, SCS instance or OS services. Cannot stop SCS instance, OS services or J2EE instance. Cannot stop OS service, SCS instance or J2EE instance".
I see on the status bar of the JSPM that the services sapccmsr.exe exit code
is -1 and the exit code of stopsap.exe is -1.
What could be wrong? I am unable to proceed further.
Please help me.
Thanks,
Sunitha
Hi Sunitha,
You can stop and start manually , reapply the support pack.

Hi Ben,
After I start the support package stack, it first executes the java.exe, and then it tries to execute the sapccmsr.exe and the exit code is -1 and then the stopsap.exe and the exit code is -1. Do you mean to say, after I hit start on the JSPM deployment, I should manually go and stop the J2EE engine?
How does this work?
Please explain.
Thanks,
Sunitha
issue was due to the missing xml file

The SPS level is 13 and I will update the system of SPS 17.
The JSPM ist now level 17.2.
What can I do to update the system to level 17?
Thanks for help.
