sap gui 7.40 java - screen size

We are evaluating the SAP 7.40 java gui for use on a Surface Pro 2.
The system is running windows 10.

The issue, after the initial install the GUI launches, but the screen/resolution/size is so terribly small the screen cannot be read.

Any thoughts?

You can change settings about font size in SAP GUI preferences, but probably the result with this is not what you are searching for.

A workaround is to decrease screen resolution in the settings of windows 10.

Another way is the use of SAP GUI Html (if your sap server has this service enabled): in this case you can work with the zoom of the web browser.
