Real & Statistical

Hi All,

Please some one help me in clearing my doubt. when we are assigning two cost objects 1 takes real & other takes Statistical right. My question is which cost object takes Real & which one takes Statistical, say

Cost Center & Internal Order

Cost Center & Sales Order

Cost Center & CO-PA

in case we are assigning three cost objects what would be procedure.

can any suggest me where would i get some material on Controlling Theory part.

Hi,

In CO, there are two types of objects, one is real and another one is statistical.

If CO is activiated, atleast one real cost object is compulsory to post any expenditure postings. (infact system will not allow to post to two real objects at a time). When one real is given, all other CO objects should be statistical.

Cost Center acts as real and statistical depending upon the other CO object selected. Ex. if Internal order is real, cost center will act as statistical.

There is no seperate master data for real and statistical in case of cost center.

But in case of other objects, you can define whether it is real or statistical.

In your example, if the Internal order is real, cost center will have statistical postings. In case of Sales order or COPA profitability segment, always cost center will receive statistical posting and other object will receive real posting.

that details you can find from Control Data tab in Order information.

This will give you wether the order is real or statistical.

hi

if internal order is a "REAL ORDER" then cost center automatically becomes statistical. sam ewith others.

Only one REAL object can be assigned and others have to be statistical.
