messge population to custom table

hi guys ,

I am cheking the pr status ,rfq status and po status for a perticular material

from the tables eban ,ekpo and ekko.

If for a perticular material if any pr ,po or rfq has been generated i need to update the status in a custom table having field zstatus.

How to do .Kindly suggest.

    Create a workflow and when ever pr ,po or rfq has been generated for a particular

    material trigger the workflow to update the table with the messages ...
