Will Change pointer (IDOC) will trigger for certain field

Hi all,

Change pointer concept is used for trigerring an master table. For that we use tcode BD61 & BD50 and link it to Message type (say for eg : CREMAS)

So , when any vendor is created , IDOC is created.

But what I need is " Is there any other way where I can restrict to certain field in vendor creation tcode for an IDOC creation" . ie only when this field change, IDOC will be created

    Hi ,

    yes it is possible ,first create an object in SCDO and then use BD52 ,where u wil specify the tablename,fieldname and the object name.So if u choose certain fields then those fields will be dispalyed only in the idoc.So when ever u change those fields the idoc will trigger.
