Web reporting

Hello,

I am working on BW 7.0 with SP 11

In order to create or execute my report on web application designer what are the things need to be done when i am trying to create the web template (with chart & analysis),given the query name & say execute giving me the error in check Bi Java Portal Connectivity

E002 Error while executing Service RSWAD_WEBPUB_CALL_SERVICE:V for object 1 ()

Unable to generate history entry

Java-Call Failed: Call XMLVALIDATION abandoned (1). Check BI Portal Connectivity.

I s it that to run the query on web it should be connected with portal

& what are the settings to be done in SPRo & what needs to be done to resolve the above problem

Hi,

For the first problem please run Support Desk Tool as in note 937697. This will analyze your system. Probably the personalization is not activated (SAP NetWeaver -> SAP Business Information Warehouse -> General Settings for Reporting and Analysis -> Activate Personalization in BEx).

Second question: in NW 2004s a template 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN is used as the default web template for query execution. You can customize it directly or copy it end extend (recomended) and set the default template in SPRO to your copy of 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN (SAP NetWeaver -> SAP Business Information Warehouse -> BEx Web -> Set Standard Web Templates).

and one more thingin 3.5 in web application designer we used to use 0 Analyzer to design the query which template needs to be used for 7.0
