Hi Willard,

After you create the new page size say ZDINA4 you also need to add the page to a format type and this format type you created to the device type used by the printer(s) you will be printing this form on. I have found many strange problems when I did not add my new page size to the device.

Hope this helps

Hi Willard,

In SPAD, Full Administration.

Under Page Formats.(This I think you already mastered)

Select the page say DINA4 and press create using template in toolbar.

Copy both landscape and portrait if you like and change the size.

Under Format types.

Create a z** format and include your new page in the page format dropdown.

Select the Orientation as requiered.

Goto to the Devices/Servers tab and check out the printers device type like IBM6408 or HPLJIIID ect. and make a note of them.

Back under DeviceTypes Tab.

Enter the device name(s) where you will be printing to and enter.

On the toolbar there is a button Formats.

Select the button and under change mode select create wich will bring up a dropdown where you should be able to see your Z** format.

Select it and save.

Change your form to your zpage and remember to activate if it is a SAPScript(Wich I othen forget). Also exit the transaction where you print the form from as it may hold a previous copy and not the latest.

Good luck and let me know if still not working.

Hi Willard,

I think you also need to reactivate the device that you added the new format to by going to Output Device and under Edit click reactivate. Also the changes is client specific and need to be transported to other clients if you have more than one client on your dev box.
