returns stock

If we maintain a separate storage location to manage the return stock, how do we exclude this stock from getting added into the supply/MRP?

Also do let me know if there needs to be any data maintained in Material Master

to exclude the returns from MRP/Supply?

    Hi Pri,

    Whatever stock you are getting in returns,you can keep this stock as blocked stock and hence it won't be used for supply.

    In t-code "MB1B" use movement type 459.This should solve your purpose.

    Also during availability check in t-code "OVZ9" for your avalability check and check rule,your field of include blocked stock shouldn't be checked(ticked).

    Incase of returns, the stock will go to blocked stock.

    If we maintain a separate storage location to manage the return stock, we should be able to cordinate with MM & PP consltant & check that particular storage location is exempted for MRP Run. It is possible.
