How to restrict saving changes in workbooks?

Hi,

I would like to restrict saving of changes workbooks.

I don't know the authorization object that I need blocked.

Can You Help me

Hi,

Assuming that these workbooks belong to a particular role, you need to endure that the users do not have maintenance ability for this role (that holds the workbooks).

But I need to restrict that the users make changes on workbooks original, and they can save new Workbooks in they "Favorites Menu"

Hi,

By default the users are allowed to save the workbooks in their favourites. Using the roles as I mentioned in the liked thread you can restrict them from changing the original workbooks, but they can always Save As in their Favourites folder.
