Problem with application server

Hi

i have a problem

In SPAM when i load file from application server, the path of application server is correct but the host not.

Specifically i have this path
SAPTS03\sapmnt\trans ecc ecc but i would change it in
SAPCL02\sapmnt\trans ecc

How can i do it?

in AL11 i can change the directory but not the host

Hi,

I am not a "cluster expert". I can tell you how we installed a cluster with MS Windows and Oracle.

First install the DB on server 1, then the SAP instance on server 2.

After this you have to do start some scripts which will created 2 virtuell host. Then the DB will be on the one virtuell host and the SAP on the other.

All this is started from the sapinst.

Also you will find this in the "normal" installation guide.

But i think ther's something wrong on the installation. The machine is Server Clustered with two nodes. I install SAP in the same mode that i have installed in other single system. Ther's another procedure to install sap in cluster?

please try the parameter DIR_EPS_ROOT, there you can also enter the hostname

How come when you load the file in EPS/in directory message server name is chnaged.

- check host name in profile file, is it same.

- Check on OS level too for host name.

Rest you can't change appl.server details directly, you need to bounce the appl.server after changes, then you able to see the changes required.

Revert if any thing required.

Host name in the profile was correct.

I think ther's some problem with the cluster because the system is installed on a cluster. The strange thing is that he take the value of my QAS system but the PRO system where i have this problem don't see the other system of the network.
