File to File scenario

Hi Guys;

I am new to SAP XI .Was trying to do File to File scenario I am trying to pick all the files from a FTP server using File Name: . . But the file adapter doesn't pick any file from the directory. When I change it to a specific file name eg. ABC.txt then it picks up the file ABC.txt only.

My requirement is to pick up all files in the directory and I just do not seem to understand what is wrong. I have used this wildcard option several times earlier and it always worked fine. But in this case, this does not work.

Hello,

When I try to do the same scenario I have the same problem.

I solved this problem when I mapping the FTP server to my XI server like other drives in the pc.

Hi, have a look to the comunication channel monitor and you'll able to see what it happening, although Bipin answer seems to be good.

To go to the comunication channel monitor you have to go to the SLD (web part) and Integration Monitoring (Runtime Workbench), press the display button, click on adapter engine, a nnd then click the communication channel monitor.

Here you only have to select your communication channel and you'll see the log of the adapter.
