    for standard tables

goto Transaction SE11 , give the following table names

    DD02L SAP Tables
DD02T R/3 DD: SAP table texts
    DD03L Table Fields

DD02L will store all the standard tables and also custom tables

    Hi,

There is a very good article on this in SAP Professional Journal. Unfortunately this is a paid service and not available freely.

    Name of the article:

"18 Techniques for Locating the Underlying Data of a Screen Field".

Hope you will be able get hold of this.

    Regards,

    Sumant.
