KM- Is it possible to add new document type in Document folder??

Dear All,

We use EP6 SP14, We need to create new document type which is the form and can attached the file and keep in KM content folder? And can be used for all KM function and approval flow. and TREX can full trex search on it.

We still don't understand on your explanation. Have you ever done like that?

Hi Vimol,

If you create a new form in a folder where you have enabled approval process, don't forget that if you attach a document to this form, you approved o reject the form not the attachment.

Obviously you can apply km functions (if you active services in your repository) on this form (feedback,comment, rating so on) but never you can modify it, if you submited it, becouse the approval process will be broken.

TREX is going to index this document, but the end-user only will see those documents released not during approval process.

Dear Fallon,

I see the document-> until the part to uplaod the document and select the type of document : Development " I found in our system, there is no TYpe : "development" . How should we config on this? Please kindly advise.
