Hello
We currently have the following environment on our Production Server;
JSDK - 1.4.2_12
CRM - 4.0 SP11
ISA - 4.0 SP11
J2EE - 6.40 PatchLevel 104329.313
Netweaver Portal - 6.0.17.0.0
KM - 6.0.17.0.0
I would like to develop our ISA application on my local PC. What do I need to do this, is the Web Application Server 04's version of the developer workplace ok for this? Or do I need to download the 2004 version of the Web Application Server.
Your Help Is Much Appreciated
Hi Jamal,
Pardon my ignorance, what is ISA ?

It is certainly possible, and rather easy, to setup an ISA locally. What you would need to do is install the J2EE and then deploy the ISA application with SDM. Obviously, you would need to have Java SDK installed. Ideally your local machine has 2GB of memory so that you can have your development tools running, such as a Java IDE or NW Dev Studio.
Keep in mind that you will still need connectivity to you backend system
