Hi,
In the development server we are creating a query with the same name as that of production and transported to production. Will that query overwrite the existing one or both will be available in production?

Hi,
If the technical name is same then it would overwrite in the production system.

Hi Drisya,
If you have a query with technical name ABC_Q001 that was created directly in production, and you create a query with the same technical name i.e. ABC_Q001 in Dev and transport it up to prod, it will not overwrite the ABC_Q001 in production because the GUID of these both will be different.
Hope this helps...

Hi drisya,
I hope u have deleted the earlier query in development and then created the new query with the same name.Yes,your new query will overwrite the existing query in production.
hence the new query will be available in production system.
hope it helps,
regards,
Parth.
