User Exits

Hi Friends,

Can you tell me how to identify the place where to incorporate the logic in user exits based on the requirement?

Regards,

Dinesh

it depends on ur requiremtn only if say u want to give some default values to particualr fields of a transaction then u need to code in the PBO User Exit for the concerned transaction.

So just put a breakpoint in the user exit and try to see if ur chages r gettign affected or giving u the expected results..u can do some smalll change to check it out..

well, if you might want to tell us your requirement, we could tell you where to seek for the user-exit or the BADI or the customer exit.

At what release are you working?

if it´s a 7.0 base, you should just look in your documentation for "enhancement points"

which give you the opportunity to implement code at almost every place you´d like to.
