Brief description on Master , Transactional , and Customizing Data

Hi,

Can anyone give me the description on Master , Transactional , and Customizing Data . Do we have header and item data to all these datas ( Master , Transactional , and Customizing data ).

    Hi,

    Master data----> data which is created once but used generically i.e. doesn't require frequent changes, E.g. Customer master data , here customer is created once but data related to customer will not change frequently.

    Transactional data---->Data related to accounting E.g. goods purchased by the customer which varies each month etc..

    Customization data----->This is usually related to settings in SAP, for e.g. fiscal year variant, different sales document types etc...

    header and item data is normally by transactions (e.g. tabele bkpf and bseg in FI)
