layout in alv

i use this statement <b>layout-box_fieldname-'CHECK'</b> in version 4.6

but when i use this in ecc 6.00 i get dump why???

    ithink you are reffering

    layout-box_fieldname = 'CHECK' .

    if it so then check whether your internal table which you are passing for alv display contain that field of type c 1 or not.

    but i am not aware of ecc 6.00 if there is any restriction or not.

    please check ur internal table it should have field with field-name 'check' and the type of that field should be char1.

    in ECC 6.0 try with

    layout-box_fname =  'CHECK' .

    and ur internal table name should have field CHECK of length 1
