ascential job

we encouter error in loading an ascential file. when we look on the datastage job in ascential this job exist. and then we trace up the file where it is being stored.

when we look to that directory, we see that the is there. after that we execute the infopackage in the error exist, but the file has been transferred into loaded directory. the error says the "error opening infosource file: NARPF_INVENTORY_FORECAST_TRANSACTION.TXT"

any resolution how to fix this issue..

    Hi

    1)check the File Permissions

    2) check the Authorizations for the user

    3) check the Path is that exactly mentioned.

    4) Is that file is open or anybdy using it..

    Click on the Priveiw pushbutton in the External TAB.. to view is the fiel accessa ble or not..

    so u can able to see the file entries or data before loading and can confirm ur file is able to open or not...

    Hi Paul,

    did you check the authorities? How are you scheduling the load? In background you need to check the authority for the SAP system itself on the directory. Online it depends on your own authority.
