Invetory Ageing Report

Hi Experts:

My Inventory ageing Requirement is like this way

When the user executes the Report in the selection screen

Two dates will be 12-06-1995(This will be constant)

12-02-2006 (Entering Date)

Now based on BATCH it has to calculate the Age of Material.

If AGE displays in Months also no Problem. Here BATCH is a charterstic Infoobject.

Because the Batch Format will be Like this way 200407. (Year and Month)

Here 200407: 2000 is year and 07 is Month (for your Clarification)

LOGIC to Implement

Entering DATE - Batch = AGE of the Material.

Report has to Generate like this manner.

AGE in Months or DAYS

Plant | Material|Rate | 0-90 | 91-120 | 121-180 | 180-………|

If the Material age is 45 days or Months it has to Sit in 0-90 days

If the Material age is 95 days or Months it has to sit in 91-120 days Etc..

If we have to Write any User Exit means Please Tell Which User Exit I have to Use

Cheers

    Hi

First in the update rule you can write a routine to map this charecteristic infoobject BATCH into a keyfigure....

Second you can create as many number of calculated keyfigures to calculate the date with count function to make the material sit in the respective interval

Try this out and tel me if any problem

    Assign points if useful

    Thanks

    Dear Purushottham,

Can you give the format of Output , I dont think the output that you have mentioned doesnt give a proper idea...do u require all in Columns?? if yes..what would be the value that is sitting in the 0 -90 column ??

Regarding your age -- Batch is a Charater Value and you are trying to implement the age with Enter date - Batch ( and this is again YYYYMM ), so you should always get this in days...as your bucket indicates..and what is the max bucket you want ...and one thing ..is there is no need for two dates..let the user enter only one date..and from that date it has give the age of material. Its better you handle this with months as your batch doesnot give any date ..

Give us the format in which you want to see O/P

    Hope it helps..

    Thanks,

    Krish
