How to get co-ordinates for all cities in the world?

Hi,

I have a requirement from client that they want to populate citywise data on GeoMAP.

Also, currently we are using LIVE Connection with on-premise data base.

After checking SAP notes, we came to know that we need to feed in latitude - longitude and build a location data view. The clien'ts business is dynamic... new cities can get added any week depending on sales.

Can someone please advise how should I design location data for this?

Is there any reference file/database with list of all cities along with their lat-long?

Please help!

Kiran - may I suggest the free OpenSAP course regarding HANA and GIS (I'm assuming that HANA is your backend?) - there are 3 options with HANA - the course just started last week and it is free - it goes into all kinds of options:
