Unable to create transfer rules between InfoSource and DataSource

I am working in BI 7.0 and for some reason, i'm not able to create transfer rules between the InfoSource and the DataSource. Both InfoSource and DataSource are visible. I've replicated the DataSource a couple of times but it's of no use. The DataSource is 2LIS_11_VAKON, which is a transaction datasource and i'll be using LO Cockpit extraction to load data. I'm not sure if this is a BI 7.0 issue or something really silly. I am sure it must be the latter. I would appreciate any insights on this one.
