InDesign Preflight/Package Issue

Hello All-

We have MDM 5.5 SP4 hotfix 2 installed and are working in the RPCM scenario. Once the MDM InDesign plug-in is installed, running InDesign's Preflight and Package functions cause the application to hang. This occurs on pre-existing DTP documents that were not created by MDM Publisher. It also seems to corrupt the document for other users, causing them to get an error; "..InDesign plug-in not found.." even though the document was created outside of MDM. Any ideas on how to make this work?

InDesign: CS2 4.0.4

MDM InDesign plug-in: 5.5.34.46

OS: WinXP SP2
