Hardware/software requirements for Demo system

Hi All,

We are planing to build demo system for Mobile Time and Travel. What are the hardware requiments to do this?

Hi Navin,

WebAS requirements: 2-3 GB Ram (atleast) and 80 GB Hard drive with win XP or Win NT OS, Oracle 9i (if NW04)

PDA Requirements: WinMobile 5.0 OS. PDA with atleast 64MB Memory (128 or more recommended)

Anything else required?

Instead of PDA, can I deploy MTT aplication on my laptop and connect to backend SAP system in off-line??

How about the SAP systems requirements?? I mean where do you get SAP add-on for the MTT application? How about licensing details??

Hi Navin,

Mobile Time and Travel is a Laptop only solution. It does not run on a PDA. I am assuming that you already have an R/3 4.7 or ERP 2004/5 system to connect to, so the next thing you will need is a Web AS 6.40+ running Mobile Infrastructure 2.5+.

Thanks Ted. Is there any weblog/pdf document that explains about MI capability and competency? Any kind of material that explain capabilities of MI or advantages of implementing MI compared to other similar products avilable in market today for Mobile.
