Locate a particular info object

Hello,

One of the members in my group created an info object last week. I'm trying to locate that info object. He doesn't remember where he created it. When i tried to do a search in rsa1, I couldn't find it. I did find it in rsd1 transaction. But it still doesn't show where it is stored in my info areas. Can someone tell me how i can either find it or delete this info object and then can create a new one.

Regards,

Sameer

That didn't help either. How can I delete it without even knowing where it is located?

I don't see a Trash can icon in that screen. Also Where-to used list is not helpful.

You have to do a search in RSA1 -> Infoobjects. Or you can use the t-code RSA14 if you have the authorization. Most likely it would be under UNASSIGNED NODES. Hope this helps.

    Hi Sameer,

Are you searching in RSA1 > modeling > InfoProviders, or InfoObjects area? If this InfoObject is not activated as an InfoProvider, then you cannot find it under the InfoAreas.

    Hope this helps...

when you go to display char details, there is a button where used, just see where it is used, in that tree, you should find the name of the infoobject catalog, that should tell you where the IO is hiding.

I have searched in info objects and info providers, also looked in unassigned nodes. When i run rsd1 t-code and enter the info object name, it shows up and it is active version. I only cannot locate it in my AWB. I also cannot delete it.

When I go to the char dtails, it gives me the details of 0profit_ctr, since this info object is referenced on 0profit_ctr. It does not give where this info object is hiding 😔

Go to SE16 -> RSDIOBCIOBJ -> Give the infoobject tech name and it would return you the infoobject catalog that this belongs to. If it doesnt return any value then I guess the SAP Note 573421 applies to your situation.

      Hope this helps.

I tried RSDIOBCIOBJ, but it doesn't list this info object, 'ZRPROFCTR'
