KKS1 not calculating in present month if WIP entry reversed

Dear Experts,

The user did the month end process for process order, the material based WIP, automatically posting Goods Issue of materials to Process Orders by back-flush function in COGI for month end and month start. say eg, 30.04 & 01.05

After this, while calculating for KKS2 for 04.2017 (30.04.2017), variance is not calculating and settlement not happening for 04.2017.

But when we try to 05.2017 (31.05.2017), variance is calculating and settling.

For every process order, 2 months time to close the order. Business suggesting for any process change.

Can anyone faced this issue can help me.

hi,

If your WIP has been reversed in the previous closing through settlement then it can no longer be settled again hence there is no need to calculate variance in the previous period. You can only calculate variance again, if you reverse your settlement from the previous then can you perform the variance calculation again and resettle.

Hi,

If the Order is in release status WIP will be calculated.

If the Order status is "Techo" then only variance will be carried out.

Please check the order status.

I hope for 4th Period Order status is in release and for the 5 th period Order status is in "Techo"

No, system is not showing any variance calculation for the 4th period, it is showing only in 5th period.
