Hi,
SRM system : Unicode (SRM4.0, SP 4)
Backend R/3 : Non unicode (6.4C)
To communicate between Unicode and no-unicode system the MDMP settings was made <b>active</b> in SRM system. So that even if we use multiple languages(Code pages) they are alike in both the systems.
But after some time the MDMP setting automaticaaly becomes <b>Inactive</b> and the data replication between the systems fails because the code pages are not alike.
Any idea why the MDMP setting become automatically Inactive and how can we prevent it ?
Best wishes,
Sambit

Hi Yann,
Thanks a lot for you answer.
The SAP note 819426 talks only about SRM system. Our SRM system is unicode that is communicating with a non-unicode system R/3 backend. That's why in the RFC destination for the R/3 backend we have selected MDMP setting as ACTIVE.
Please reply back.
Best wishes,
Sambit
