BW 7.0 DataSoueces

Dear Gurus

We recently installed a new BW 7.0 sanbox for testing.

I've connected it to our QA R/3 session.

In the datasources I can see all datasources and replicate them, but going into

the infosources area and trying to create a new transfer rule, I get an error message saying "No available DataSoueces for source system XXX exists"

Please advice

BTW Our R/3 QA system is ECC6

    Have you replicated the Datasources as 7.0 DS, and what abt your infosources are they 7.0 or 3.x?

    If you are trying to connect a 3.5 IS to a 7.0 DS, the system wouldnt recognise the DS. So make sure you migrate ur 3.5 or else have them both in the same version.

    Have you upgraded the system from 3.x to 7.0 or installed fresh BW7.0?
