Wha is the difference between ME2O & MBLB?

What is te difference between ME25 & ME21N?

ME2O:

The report "SC Stock Monitoring for Vendor" creates a list of stocks of

materials provided to a vendor, with the current stock situation,

planned issues and planned receipts.

MBLB:

This report provides an overview of the stocks of material provided to

vendor. You can select stocks both via the name of thevendor) and via

plant, material, or company code.

ME25:

Create PO without Vendor

ME21N:

Create PO with vendor know or supplying plant.

Further expanation on ME21N and ME25:

If you know the vendor, then you can use ME21N. one of the first things to enter is the vendor number. of course you can search for the number, however you know in that moment to which vendor you want place an order. you can create the PO in reference to a requisition.

if you do not know the vendor and you dont have a requistion then you can start with ME25 . You first enter your material data, then you can assign a source of supply (info records and/or source list and/or contracts needed). After te source assingment you can directly generate the PO. It is even possible to save the data as a requisition if a source is not found but required.
