Work XI 3.0 together with ERP2005

Dear experts,

We have SAP landscape where SAP XI 3.0 communicate with SAP R/3. We are going to upgrade SAP R/3 to ERP2005. Should we upgrade SAP XI 3.0 to SAP PI 7.0 or SAP XI 3.0 can work together with ERP2005.

Please advise or send me reference to appropriate documentation

Hi,

It is not mandatory. But I guess u do generally get PI 7.0 with ERP 2005.

If you are using standard interfaces it's better to use the synchronised version.
