Two weeks ago, I tried to terminate my free appliance library instance, but I got an error. I assumed I would not be charged and I let it be. But I am getting a bill from Amazon for 299 hours!
How can I get this bill reversed?! At the very least I need to terminate this instance now, because it is still generating costs for me.
Please help quickly!
Hello Aaron,
The terminate operation failed because you or somebody else who has access to your AWS account invalidated the keys that you have provided in SAP CAL approximately 10 hours after the instance was created.
In this situation you have two options:
1. (Recommended) Provide new valid keys by editing your account in SAP CAL and then terminate the instance in SAP CAL.
2. Terminate the instance and clean-up all other resources created by SAP CAL in the AWS Management console.
Best regards,
Stanimir
