creating uninstaller

Hi

when i create the ard file using AddOnRegDataGen.exe

in one of the text boxes of the creation form i can specify unistalller exe location.

my question is how can i create an unistaller?

it seems to be needed when i'm installing a newer version of my addon over a previous installed one (the sap application informs me that it can't find the uninstaller)

If you create your installer by hand you have also to create the uninstaller and give the path in the AddOnRegDataGen.exe tool.

If you use B1DE Installer wizards the uninstaller will be the same exe as the installer, only the parameters will be different. But everything is managed by B1DE installer wizard.

Hi Yechiel,

When you are creating your add on installer its automatically creates a unistaller. you can first remove your previous version from add-on administration in administration menu. and restart your SAP Business One, it will automatically start unistallation your add-on.
