Hello everybody,
I am starting working with SSO feature but and i have a doubt, correct me if i am wrong please.
There are 3 scenarios posible:
1. Same user ID in all systems --> SSO Logon tickets without user mapping
In this case you create a system (in System Administration, System Configuration, System Landscape) and in the option User Management put Logon method SAPLOGONTICKETS and "admin, user" as User Mapping Type. Then configure ITS or WAS, and of course configure system backend to accept tickets.
2. User ID in external system an user ID in portal are different --> SSO Logon Tickets with user mapping.
The same but you have to map user in the system (User administration, user mapping).
3. Different user ID between the system and reference system.
Now you have to do the same but in order to SAPLOGONTICKETS you have to put UIDPW and then you have to map user in the system (User administration, user mapping).
Is this correct?
Thanks
Guillermo.
