how to design layers in lsa++ dataflow design

Hi team,

I have gone through many blogs and questions before posting this, unfortunately i could not get any concrete related to my questions, hence posting the below questions-

We are working in new SAP bI implementation project? We need to implement a SAP bi and source system is SAP ECC. i am new to SAP BI and we are working on sap bw7.5 on hana 1. What should be the BW modelling/designing approach using LSA++? How many layers we need to build for generic structure. HOw to decide for layers. what all minimum layers we would need to build? 2. once the layers are define, what other prerequisites/points/settings needs to be considered for generic dataflow design. 3. we need to implement for different mudules(sd,mm,fi,co,pp,pm,qm) 4. how to choose standard datasource, which datasource to consider and activate? 5. what question to ask business or client for further developments?
