Raju,

The techinical difference b/w template vs reference is when u create an infobject with reference, it does not have any physical storage and it shares the meta data of the referred characteristic. The same holds good for key figure as well.

Template, we use to copy the properties of particular kf or characteristic or anything, and it is entirely different from Reference characteristic.

Hi Raju,

with reference we will copy the same properities of the reference object, we cant change anything. with template we can copy the properties of the object and we can change if we want to make any changes.
